VSS Global
The VSS Series is a three-pass, fully automatic horizontal internal combustion steam boiler, built on proven engineering principles and modern boiler technology for reliable performance, high efficiency and a long service life.
Fuel is atomised by the burner and ignites inside a wave-form furnace, where radiant heat is absorbed in the first pass. The hot gases then reverse through the main tube bundle for the second pass before completing a third pass through the rear tube bundle and exiting via the smoke chamber and chimney — a design that maximises heat recovery, lowers operating costs and reduces emissions.
Every unit is engineered for safe operation, energy efficiency, environmental compliance, durability, intelligent automatic control and simplified maintenance, meeting demands across a wide range of industrial applications.
Maxtherm Steam Boiler
Stepoli is the appointed agent and authorised dealer for Maxtherm Boilers in East Africa, specialising in their oil and gas-fired range. Maxtherm boilers are built for high efficiency and consistent performance across industries including textiles, chemicals and food processing.
The Maxtherm range also includes hybrid and multi-fuel boilers capable of firing biomass, coal and agro-waste, using advanced fluidised-bed or bubbling-bed combustion technology for maximum fuel flexibility.
Our Manufacturing Process
Every VSS Series boiler is built using advanced CNC machining for precision and durability — from tube preparation and tube-plate drilling to plasma-cut smoke chamber panels. Longitudinal and circumferential welds use submerged arc welding, with major seams put through radiographic inspection to confirm structural integrity.
Smoke tubes are expanded before welding to remove gaps at the tube plates, and automated argon arc welding reduces stress concentration for long-term reliability. Furnace insulation uses premium aluminium silicate fibre and high-temperature refractory compounds to cut heat loss and keep external surfaces safe to work around.
